From a traditional trading center whereas shipbuilding and the ports used to be the cornerstone of Bremen´s economy, the city is now evolving into a pioneering business location with great technological expertise.

The spectrum of the business activities ranges from the automobile right through to aerospace and aviation industry, a vast variety of food, beverage and tobacco industry to EDP and satellite-assisted logistics, from micro-systems engineering to simulation systems to satellite construction, the T.I.M.E. sector and environmental engineering to laser technology to pioneering service enterprises.
